Place: Faith Presbyterian Church Topic: Anti-Bullying

Speaker: Shannon M. Kish, LGSW, Regional Extension Agent, Family & Child Development, from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System

Topic: Anti-Bullying
1) To increase the awareness and knowledge of school personnel, parents, and other decision-makers about the multiple factors that contribute to effective efforts to prevent bullying behaviors.
2) To increase the social emotional assets of school-aged children to reduce bullying behaviors and victimization.

All of our meetings are free and open to the public.

Free childcare provided during the meeting by reservation only. Email makingconnectionshsv@autism-alabama.org with CHILDCARE as your subject line. Include your name and the names and ages of children needing childcare. RSVP no later than Monday, September 15.






Making Connections is a parent-led support network for families in Huntsville, Alabama and the surrounding region. The group strives to improve the lives of individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Meetings are free and open to the public.

We meet monthly at Faith Presbyterian Church at the corner of Whitesburg and Airport Roads from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. and provide free childcare (reservations required) on-site during the meetings. We provide our families and professionals the opportunity to network and learn from each other.

Making Connections is an active and vibrant support group in partnership with the Autism Society of Alabama.
